ELA Games granted MGA Recognition Notice

The authorisation from the MGA is positioned to foster closer collaboration between ELA Games and operators.

ELA Games has attained the Malta Gaming Authority’s (MGA) Recognition Notice, signalling the next step in its strategic expansion across select global markets in collaboration with the MGA.

This latest development aims to further ELA Games’ strategic growth in Europe, and to facilitate distribution and forge commercial partnerships with firms based in Malta, a key iGaming hub in Europe.

Mike Cini, Business Owner at ELA Games, said: “We’re delighted to have obtained our MGA Recognition Notice as it is another major milestone in our regulatory expansion. Malta is a leading iGaming hub in Europe and being authorised there will enable us to work even more closely with our operators and bring player engagement to the next level for our partners.”

ELA Games develops products incorporating gamification features such as recent releases like ‘Vikings Wild Cash’ and ‘Lucky Dwarfs.’ The studio anticipates securing more partnerships and introducing additional games in the forthcoming months.

This development builds upon ELA Games’ recent milestones, including the acquisition of a Romanian Class 2 licence from the

National Gambling Office

(ONJN) alongside Soft2Bet. The company’s collaborations with

EveryMatrix

and

Reevo

have also contributed to its growing footprint in the industry.

The MGA has recently revoked the licenses of certain gaming entities like

AMGO iGaming Malta

and

Arabmillionaire

. AMGO iGaming Malta faced cancellation due to multiple breaches, including non-payment of licensing and compliance fees.

Arabmillionaire’s licence cancellation resulted from prolonged overdue fees and unresolved breaches, leading to its cessation of operations in Malta.
